At 60, stunt legend Sabu passed away.
The original Sheik, a legendary figure in wrestling, was the nephew of Sabu, who was born Terry Michael Brunk on December 12, 1964. He carried on his uncle’s legacy but created a style that was uniquely his own. Famous for his high-flying moves, brutal chair shots, and no-holds-barred matches, He became a household name among fans of hardcore wrestling. He became well-known in the 1990s while competing in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), where he took part in some of the bloodiest and most memorable matches in professional wrestling.
AEW and the wrestling world mourns the passing of Sabu.

From barbed wire battles to unforgettable high-risk moments, Sabu gave everything to professional wrestling.
Our thoughts are with his family, his friends and his fans. pic.twitter.com/JpgbYj2KKl
He represented turmoil, suffering, and passion in addition to being a wrestler. Often seen wrapping his body in barbed wire, jumping through tables, and fighting through injuries, he redefined what it meant to be extreme. He rarely utilized a microphone, allowing his actions in the ring to speak louder than words despite his muscular approach.
Throughout his career, He also appeared in WWE, TNA (now Impact Wrestling), and various independent promotions across the world. His influence can still be seen in modern hardcore wrestling, where many younger wrestlers openly credit him as an inspiration.

Wrestling promotions from around the globe have paid tribute, with many remembering He as a trailblazer who pushed the limits of what wrestling could be.
We no longer have. His legacy will endure forever.
He had a lasting impression on professional wrestling and will always be regarded as a fighter who sacrificed everything for his art.
He is at Rest in peace. Never wrestling ring be the same without you.
